Governor KP pays tribute to late Zulfiqar Khosa

DERA GHAZI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi attended the Qul ceremony of former Governor Punjab Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa here on Saturday, where a large number of political leaders and people from various walks of life were present.

Among those in attendance were Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Secretary Information Nadeem Afzal Chan.

On the occasion, the Governor paid rich tribute to the political and public services of the late Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa and prayed for his forgiveness, elevation of ranks in the Jannat, and patience for the bereaved family.

Later, a reception was hosted in honor of Governor Faisal Karim Kundi by members of the Kundi community residing in Dera Ghazi Khan at the residence of Gul Khan Kundi.

During the reception, the Governor met with prominent members and elders of the Kundi community and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Gul Khan Kundi presented traditional turbans to Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Nadeem Afzal Chan as a mark of respect. He also appreciated the Governor’s role in promoting a soft image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and advancing the state narrative despite challenging circumstances in the province.
