Governor KP urges unity, sacrifice on Eid ul Azha

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday extended Eid ul Azha greetings to the nation, particularly the people of the province.

In his message, the Governor said Eid ul Azha symbolizes faith, sacrifice, compassion, and unity, while commemorating the devotion and obedience of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS).

He urged people to share the joy of Eid with the poor and deserving segments of society, saying helping those in need reflects the true spirit of Eid.

Faisal Karim Kundi said the occasion promotes peace, brotherhood, harmony, and tolerance, adding that these values are essential for a prosperous society.

The Governor also appealed to citizens to maintain cleanliness during and after Qurbani and cooperate with municipal staff for proper disposal of animal waste.
