Governor Kundi stresses positive role of youth in promoting KP’s soft image

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday said that the youth of Pakistan, particularly from our province, had a vital role in projecting the province’s positive and peaceful image at national and international levels.

He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation led by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Mubarak Zeb Khan here at Governor House. Matters of mutual interest, the role of youth, the province’s positive image and issues related to national development came under discussion during the meeting.

Governor Kundi paid tribute to the services and sacrifices of Mubarak Zeb Khan and his family, saying that families rendering sacrifices for the country and nation were valuable national assets. He said the younger generation is the guarantor of Pakistan’s bright future and added that the role of youth is highly important in highlighting the soft image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Governor said that today’s youth, through education, awareness, positive thinking and modern skills, could not only contribute significantly to the country’s development but also promote a peaceful and positive image of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa across the world. He urged the young people to play a responsible role on social media and other platforms and present the province’s culture, tourism, traditions and potential to the world in a positive manner.

On the occasion, Mubarak Zeb Khan appreciated the initiatives taken by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi regarding youth engagement and welfare. He said that the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was playing an effective role in bringing youth into the national mainstream and encouraging them towards positive activities.
