Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori has reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for public rights without discrimination

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori has reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for public rights without discrimination.

While speaking to the media at the MQM Zonal Office in Hyderabad on Wednesday Governor emphasized that resolving public issues and providing relief to citizens requires collective consultation with all political stakeholders.

The Governor stated that Hyderabad, being the second-largest city of Sindh, must be given priority on an equal and non-discriminatory basis, particularly in addressing critical issues such as electricity, gas, water supply, education, the IT sector, and other civic concerns.

Responding to a question, he noted that development projects are underway across Sindh, including Karachi. He added that the provincial leadership had sought Federal funding for Hyderabad’s development schemes, and the federal government has approved funds specifically for the reconstruction of roads in the city.

Governor Sindh further underscored the need to prioritize national, provincial, and city-level development efforts, stating that Pakistan’s prevailing economic challenges can only be overcome through collective resolve and unity. He remarked that despite limited resources, Pakistan has demonstrated resilience and strength in the face of formidable challenges.

He also reiterated that the doors of the Governor House remain open to the public round the clock.With the commencement of the holy month of Ramazan, special arrangements have been made at the Governor House for the distribution of ration and essential commodities to the underprivileged, along with the organization of Sehr and Iftar for deserving individuals.

Among those present on the occasion were Dr. Farooq Sattar, Amin-ul-Haq, Sabir Qaim Khani, and other party representatives.
