Governor Punjab calls on President Zardari

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan called on President Asif Ali Zardari at the President House in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan briefed the President on the overall administrative situation of Punjab province and public welfare measures. He apprised the President about the measures being taken for the betterment of the people of Punjab.

The President appreciated the performance of Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan.

President Asif Ali Zardari said that coordination between the federation and the provinces is the need of the hour to solve public problems.

The Governor Punjab said that merit and transparency are the top priority in educational institutions of Punjab. He said that he will take every possible step for the welfare of the people of Punjab. He said that he is on the same page with the Punjab government for the development, peace and stability of Punjab.
