QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Thursday urged graduating officers to move forward with courage and determination, emphasizing that the world needs their passion, knowledge, and action.

He was addressing the participants of the graduation ceremony organized by the University of Balochistan with the support of the European Union.

On this occasion, Provincial Minister Mir Asim Kurd Gelu, Senator Saeed-ul-Hassan Mandokhel, Member of Provincial Assembly Zarak Khan Mandokhel, Provincial Secretary Hashim Khan Ghilzai, Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai, Team Leader Balochistan Water Resource Program Mr. Yelle, Dr. Muhammad Irfan Khan, Professor Dr. Shazia and Director of the University of Balochistan Training and Development Center Noor-ul-Amin Kakar, along with trainee officers from eight different departments were present.

The Governor urged for significant funds from the Federal government to strengthen water resource management in Balochistan, the largest province in terms of area.

He said that the effects of climate change can be reduced in the entire province by constructing new dams and properly managing water resources.

There is an important relationship between man and nature. Now, raise the collective sense of restoration of the ecosystem and improvement of the environment among other youth of the society because you have to play the role of protectors of nature.

Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that the officers of the graduation ceremony have been given scientific thinking and approach by the relevant experts during the three-month training, after which it is now your national responsibility to play your part in protecting nature.

He said that they have learned about the delicate balance of our ecosystem, the need for sustainable practices, and the urgent need to protect the environment for future generations.

He said, "As you step into practical life, remember that your every action is a wave in the ocean of change, your education has equipped you with modern tools to build a greener, healthier society."

Earlier, Governor Balochistan congratulated the organizers for organizing the successful training and graduation ceremony and distributed certificates and commemorative shields.
