Govt cuts petrol, diesel prices by Rs22 Per litre

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) The Federal government on Friday announced a reduction of Rs22 per litre in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel for the next week, effective from May 30, 2026.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has been reduced from Rs403.

78 per litre to Rs381.78 per litre.

Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been cut from Rs402.78 per litre to Rs380.78 per litre.

The revised ex-depot prices will come into effect from May 30, 2026.
