Govt ensuring swift redressal of public complaints through modern system: Mayor Sukkur

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Sindh Government Spokesperson and Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arslan islam Shaikh on Friday has said that a modern, integrated and transparent system is in place to ensure timely and effective redressal of public complaints.

During his visit to the Chief Minister Sindh Public Complaint Cell, Barrister Arslan said that he I was present at this complaint cell today, where public grievances are being formally registered and immediately forwarded to the departments concerned under a modern system to ensure their timely resolution.

He said that this is not just an office but an effective platform where the state is directly listening to its citizens and ensuring prompt action.

He said the initiative is a practical manifestation of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s people-friendly vision and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s dynamic leadership, under which the governance system has been fully mobilized for public service.

The Sindh government is carrying out real-time tracking of every complaint through modern technology and digital monitoring.

This not only ensures swift solutions but also helps improve the performance of institutions, he said.

Barrister Arslan said that on the special directives of the Chief Minister, daily duties of government spokespersons and Special Assistants to the CM have been assigned at the cell so they can personally listen to public issues and ensure their immediate resolution.

He said the complaint cell is being developed as a one-window facility where citizens are provided instant access, guidance and relief at a single platform instead of visiting multiple offices. “Every complaint is not only registered but also continuously monitored until the issue is fully resolved,” he added.

Mayor Sukkur said this system is laying the foundation of an accountable, transparent and people-friendly governance structure where citizens’ facilitation, protection and relief remain our top priority.
