Grand ceremony to commemorate Marka-e-Haq in AJK on Wednesday

MUZAFFARABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) All set to celebrate first anniversary of the Marka-e-Haq in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) like other parts of the country. As the government of Azad Kashmir had already announced 10 days celebrations and activities from 1st May, different political parties and organizations have been organizing different activities like rallies and seminars to highlight the significance of the event and pay tribute to heroes of the operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos that led to Pakistan in highest ranking in the global community in terms of military might and diplomatic successes.

However, the grand ceremony of the series is scheduled on Wednesday evening at Narol cricket stadium, the preparations for which have reached its peak on Tuesday. Chief Secretary Khushhal Khan Khattak visited the stadium to finalize the arrangements.

The Narol Stadium in the capital city of Muzaffarabad has been beautifully decorated with the national flags of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell has also displayed banners, panaflexes, signboards, and portraits across the city.

A grand and colorful ceremony is scheduled to be held in the evening tomorrow on Wednesday at Narol Stadium, to commemorate the first anniversary of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos. The event will feature prominent singers from Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, national star cricketers, and high-ranking government officials.

During the ceremony, national heroes will be paid tribute and expressions of patriotism, national unity, and love for the country will be highlighted.

Extensive arrangements are underway to make the event memorable. The capital has been adorned beautifully, creating a festive atmosphere, while the public is also showing great enthusiasm and excitement.
