Great services for state of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto remembered

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Apr, 2026) Divisional President of Pakistan Peoples Party Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi on Saturday paid tribute

to former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his death anniversary, lauding his contributions to the

nation’s political and constitutional development and progress.

The ceremony was held at the party secretariat in Sargodha, where divisional PPP leadership

remembered Bhutto’s services and achievements.

Qureshi said Bhutto’s efforts for the country’s development, prosperity and strengthening of national defence

during his tenure were highly commendable.

He also highlighted Bhutto’s pivotal role in framing the Constitution of Pakistan 1973, describing it as

a cornerstone for parliamentary democracy in the country.

He further praised Bhutto’s commitment to democratic governance, his people-centric policies, and his representation of Pakistan on the global stage.

Qureshi prayed for Bhutto’s high ranks in Jannah and said his political services would always be remembered.

The event was attended by a large number of party workers.
