ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) The allottees of the Green Enclave-I housing project of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) on Wednesday have called a meeting on Saturday, June 6, at Jasmine Garden, to discuss the future of the long-stalled development.
The meeting comes amid growing concerns among thousands of government employees who were allotted plots under the scheme but are still waiting for possession despite the passage of nearly 17 years since the project was launched in 2009.
Talking to media, an allottee Tahir Mahmood said the gathering would enable members to review the current status of the scheme and deliberate on possible options for securing the early completion of development work.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He said t5hat participants would discuss the challenges confronting the project and explore ways to collectively pursue their demands before the relevant authorities.
“The meeting is aimed at strengthening coordination among allottees and developing a common approach to address the issues affecting the project,” he said, adding that the presence of a large number of members would demonstrate the seriousness of their concerns.
Another allottee, Fazal-e-Maula, said the project had remained pending for far too long and required urgent attention from the concerned quarters.
He noted that greater engagement by members could help highlight the difficulties faced by allottees and encourage faster action on the development front.
