ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) After years of delays and uncertainty, allottees of Green Enclave-I have expressed renewed hope as the long-stalled housing project is expected to be taken up in the upcoming executive board meeting of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) later this month.

According to sources, the project, launched on a first-come, first-served basis, saw initial registrations in 2009 but failed to reach completion within the expected timeframe. Its inclusion in the forthcoming meeting’s agenda has raised expectations among allottees that key decisions could be taken to revive the scheme and resume long-pending infrastructure development.

Many allottees believe the meeting could prove to be a turning point. “We are hopeful that the executive board will take practical decisions to restart development work and address long-pending issues,” said Tahir Mahmood, an allottee.

Chaudhary Amjad Ali, a representative of the allottees, termed the development a positive sign. “This indicates that the authorities are finally giving due attention to the concerns of allottees. We expect stalled infrastructure work to resume soon after the meeting,” he said.

Another allottee, retired principal Fazal-e-Maula, said the affected members were looking forward to a positive outcome. “We hope to finally build our homes and provide a roof for our families. The priority should be timely completion and possession,” he added.

The allottees urged the authorities to expedite infrastructure development and ensure early completion of the project, stressing that decisive action was needed to restore confidence after years of delay.
