Grievance redressal committee reviews plot allocation complaints

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) The first meeting of the Grievance Redressal Committee, formed to ensure transparent and fair allocation of plots at the Sargodha Fruit and Vegetable Market, was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Arshad Ahmad Wattoo on Thursday.

According to the official spokesperson here, the committee reviewed complaints and objections submitted by 46 recommended eligible commission agents and 13 rejected applicants.

The ADC directed that all cases be decided transparently and on merit in accordance with the Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority Act, 2018, and Punjab Market Committees Regulations, 2026.

Applicants have been given seven days after publication of the public advertisement to submit complaints with supporting documents.

The committee will forward its recommendations to the Auction/Allotment Committee after completing the review.
