Gwadar Youth Festival : Panel discussion on skills, employment & entrepreneurship held

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2026) A special panel discussion titled "Empowering Youth: Opportunities, Skills & Future of Gwadar" was organized at the GDA Auditorium under the Gwadar Youth Festival 2026 by the Balochistan Rural Support Programme (BRSP).

The event focused on youth skills development, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Speaking on the occasion, participants emphasized the importance of education, technical skills and entrepreneurship in shaping the future of Gwadar's youth.

BRSP CEO Dr. Tahir Rashid highlighted the launch of the RISE Programme in collaboration with the Government of Balochistan to promote youth empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.

MPA Gwadar Maulana Hidayat Ur Rehman urged young people to equip themselves with modern skills to secure better employment and contribute to economic growth.

The event concluded with the distribution of medals and certificates among winners of the artwork painting competition.
