Hajj Operation 2026 Enters Final Phase: Jeddah Departures to Conclude in 72 Hours, Final Flight from Madinah on June 30

Madinah, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) The repatriation of Pakistani pilgrims is progressing rapidly, with 46% of the total pilgrims having safely returned home, while 55,000 pilgrims under the government scheme remain in Saudi Arabia.

According to Ministry of Religious Affairs Spokesperson Omar Butt, the Hajj Operation 2026 has entered its final phase. Over the next 72 hours, field operations in Makkah will be wrapped up, shifting the entire operational focus to Madinah.

Providing a breakdown of the pilgrims currently in Saudi Arabia, the spokesperson stated that 28,000 pilgrims are presently staying in Makkah and are being relocated to Madinah in phases. Concurrently, 27,000 pilgrims are in Madinah to pay respects at the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) and perform visitations, from where their direct repatriation to Pakistan is also underway.

In tandem with the pilgrims' return, the administrative machinery is also being scaled down. So far, 51% of the medical staff and Hajj assistants (Khudam-ul-Hujjaj) have returned to Pakistan, while the remaining personnel will remain in the field until the final flight.

According to the flight schedule, the last Hajj flight from Jeddah Airport will depart for Pakistan on June 16, after which operations there will close. The entire Hajj operation will officially conclude on June 30 with the departure of the final flight from Madinah.
