ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) The Faculty of Management Sciences at Hamdard University recently hosted the Entrepreneurship Symposium, a premier event designed to catalyze innovation and foster a collaborative ecosystem between the classroom and the boardroom.

Imtiaz Haider, Commissioner of the SECP and former Director General of Hamdard University’s Islamabad Campus, shared the inspiring journey of Shaheed Hakim Mohammad Said to motivate the next generation of leaders.
Keynote addresses were also delivered by Shahbaz Majeed Sheikh, CEO of the Latif Group of Companies, who detailed his professional path to inspire the students, and Dr.

Adding to the academic depth of the event, Dr. Shahbaz Tariq, Head of Research at Freedom Gate Prosperity, discussed his book From Idea to Impact, elaborating on how it serves as a practical guide for youth to transition from innovative concepts to tangible social impact.
A central highlight was an expert panel moderated by Dr. Syed Khalid Ahmed, where Muhammad Anwar, CEO of Freedom Gate Prosperity, prominently advocated for the "Right to Enterprise".
Anwar emphasized that empowering the youth requires removing regulatory burdens and fostering an environment for innovative problem-solving in the digital age.
The session also included Syed Raza Ali from Accountability Lab, who stressed aligning curricula with market needs and adopting hybrid learning and AI to prepare graduates for a shifting job market.
The panelists called for a stronger partnership between academia and industry to cultivate a new generation of proactive, impact-driven leaders.
