Hazara Police make special arrangements for Eid-ul-Adha

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Hazara Police and district administrations on Wednesday made special security and traffic arrangements for Eid-ul-Adha prayers and tourists across the Hazara region.

In Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Havelian, Battagram and other towns of Hazara, Eid-ul-Adha prayers were offered at 7:00 am, where thousands of Muslims gathered to offer Eid prayers.

Besides small congregations across Abbottabad city, the largest Eid prayer gatherings were held at Markazi Eid Gah, Jamia Masjid Abbottabad and Jamia Masjid Mandian Abbottabad at 7:00 am.

Eid prayers were also offered at open grounds in different parts of the city, attended by thousands of worshippers.

Hazara Police chalked out a special security plan for Eid-ul-Adha and deployed over 10,000 police personnel at mosques and Eid congregations during prayer timings. Police were also deployed at major markets, parks and picnic spots to avoid any untoward situation.

Keeping in view the influx of tourists, Hazara Traffic Police also made special arrangements to manage traffic flow and established 44 tourist facilitation centres across the division.
