HBL PSL 11 kicks off today; matches to be played without spectators

LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-March 26th, 2026) The 11th edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to start today, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars set to face newly inducted Hyderabad Kings in the opening match.

Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the tournament; however, matches will be limited to television broadcast and live streaming this season.

According to official decisions taken in view of ongoing regional tensions, the spectators will not be allowed inside stadiums as part of measures aimed at preventing an energy crisis.

Earlier, the official anthem for the upcoming Pakistan Super League 2026 was released.

The anthem was unveiled by the Pakistan cricket board through its official social media platform X, generating excitement among fans ahead of the new season.
The new anthem for HBL PSL 2026 featured renowned singers like Atif Aslam, Sabri sisters and Aima Baig.
