Health facilities reviewed

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Chief Executive Officer of the District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr Syed Atta-ul-Munim, visited THQ Hospital Sara-e-Alamgir to review healthcare facilities.

He held a meeting with consultants, attended by Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Bilal Bin Tariq, where he listened to their concerns and assured them that the issues would be taken up with the Health and Population Department for resolution.

Later, he visited the Muhammad Ashraf Gondal Free Dialysis Center at THQ Hospital Kharian. Nephrologists and technical staff briefed him on dialysis services and patient care facilities, in the presence of Medical Superintendent Dr Zafar Mehdi.

He appreciated the efforts of Kharian’s civil society and issued directions for the formal inauguration of the dialysis centre.

The CEO also inspected furniture provision at the school of Midwifery and directed Deputy District Health Officer Dr Usama Tahir to ensure the prompt supply of required items.

During his visit to THQ Hospital Kharian, he interacted with patients, inquired about treatment facilities, and expressed satisfaction over the positive feedback received.
