Health facilities reviewed in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat Dr Syed Ata-ul-Munim visited Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Lalamusa and Government Trauma Center Lalamusa to review healthcare facilities and service delivery.

According to official sources, the CEO Health first inspected THQ Hospital where he reviewed various departments, including the emergency unit, wards, medicine store, pharmacy, indoor pharmacy established with the cooperation of Anjuman Bahbood-e-Mareezan, and the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) programme.

Medical Superintendent Dr Mirza Muhammad Ashraf was present on the occasion. Dr Ata-ul-Munim interacted with admitted patients and obtained direct feedback regarding the treatment and healthcare services being provided.

He issued necessary instructions to the hospital administration and staff to further improve patient care.

Later, the CEO Health visited Government Trauma Center Lalamusa, where Medical Superintendent Dr Abid Majeed briefed him on the hospital's operational affairs and the functioning of various departments.

During the visit, Dr Ata-ul-Munim also met patients at the trauma center and sought their feedback on medical services. He directed the concerned staff to improve the quality of treatment and ensure the provision of efficient healthcare facilities, official sources said.
