Health minister expresses concerns over poor cleanliness at Holy Family Hospital

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Health Minister Punjab, Khawaja Salman Rafique on Friday expressed concerns over poor cleanliness conditions during a surprise visit to Holy Family Hospital, directing the administration to ensure immediate improvement.

Inspecting various departments, the minister ordered authorities to maintain hygiene standards and streamline service delivery, particularly in high-pressure areas.

He directed staff in the emergency ward to ensure timely and efficient treatment for patients, while instructing counter staff to deal with visitors in a courteous manner, officials said.

“The provision of dignified and quality healthcare to the public is the government’s top priority,” the minister said, adding that no compromise would be made on treatment standards.
