HESCO declares 2 more 11 KV feeders exempt from outages

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has added 2 more 11 KV feeders, located in Mirpurkhas district, in the list of its zero load shedding feeders.

The company's spokesman Sadiq Kubar informed here on Friday that after addition of the 11 KV Naukot and 11 KV Nabi Sir City feeders the total number of the feeders exempt from the routine outages had jumped to 61.

According to him, the announcement about load shedding waiver was made by Chief Executive Officer of HESCO Faizullah Dahiri at a ceremony in Mirpurkhas district on Thursday.

He briefed that the Naukot feeders supplied electricity through 72 pole mounted transformers and the Nabi Sir feeder through 21.

The former had 4,636 connections and the latter 1,823, he added.
