HESCO declares 64th 11 KV feeder exempt from outages

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jun, 2026) Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has declared one more 11 KV exempt from load shedding, taking the total number of such feeders to 64.The company's spokesman Sadiq Kubar informed here on Saturday that Chief Executive Officer Faizullah Dahiri announced this decision at a ceremony in Sanghar district where 11 KV City Feeder had been added to the list of zero load shedding feeders.

According to Kubar, the feeder in question was supplied electricity from 132 KV Kandiari grid station.He told that the feeder consisted of 29 pole mounted transformers and 1,047 consumers including 748 domestic ones and 262 commercial besides 8 industrial.The length of the power cables supplying electricity to the feeder was 62 kilometer, he added.
