'Historic victory of Marka-e-Haq lifts Pakistan’s global stature'

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) Vice Chancellor (VC) Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) Prof Dr Kanwal Amin said that the historic and resounding success of Marka-e-Haq has elevated Pakistan’s stature at the global level, attributing the landmark victory to the visionary, courageous and strategic leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, which made the nation proud and strengthened its defense to an invincible level.

In her special statement on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq, she said that the remarkable triumph was the result of unwavering resolve, professional excellence and prudent leadership demonstrated by the armed forces of Pakistan under the command of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

The Pak forces thwarted nefarious designs of the enemy with exceptional strategy and determination, ensuring the country’s defense and sovereignty, she added.

Prof Dr Kanwal Amin termed the victory a moment of immense pride for the entire nation and said that it had proven beyond doubt that Pakistan’s armed forces possess full capability to effectively counter all internal and external threats.

She said that the courage, wisdom and professionalism displayed during Marka-e-Haq would be remembered in golden words in the history of Pakistan.

She said that Pakistan’s armed forces delivered a strong, effective and decisive response to the enemy on all fronts, making it clear that no compromise would ever be made on the defense of the homeland.

Pak forces not only safeguarded the borders but also reinforced Pakistan’s dignity, sovereignty and integrity, earning deep respect and gratitude from the nation, she added.

Highlighting the role of national leadership, she said that the credit for the success of Marka-e-Haq also goes to the professional capabilities of the Pak armed forces and the prudent policies of the government , which collectively instilled renewed confidence, unity and strength among the people.

GCWUF Vice Chancellor said that the entire nation was celebrating this success and remained thankful to the Pak armed forces and the government for ensuring defense of the country with courage and commitment.

She emphasized that women, students, teachers and educational institutions across Pakistan stand in solidarity with the Pak armed forces on this significant national achievement.

She said that the soldiers of Pakistan continue to guard the country’s borders day and night with unwavering dedication and readiness to sacrifice their lives, which is the true spirit behind a strong, secure and stable Pakistan. The nation holds immense respect, love and prayers for these brave soldiers and their families, she added.

Prof Dr Kanwal Amin said that the faculty, students and administration of Government College Women University Faisalabad pay rich tribute to the Pak armed forces personnel who remain ever ready to sacrifice for the country.
