ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) The Home Economics Alumni Association in collaboration with FG Institute of Home Economics, Art & Design organized a vibrant reunion dinner in Islamabad, bringing together alumni, educationists, social leaders and distinguished personalities to celebrate creativity, heritage and the enduring legacy of home economics education.
Held under the theme “Rung Pairahun Ka Khushbu Zulf Lehraney Ka Naam,” the event showcased artistic expression, fashion and cultural elegance through personalized appearances and a lively catwalk featuring former students of the College of Home Economics.
The reunion was hosted by renowned television personality and alumna Farah Hamid, whose engaging style and spontaneous wit added energy and warmth to the evening.
President of the Alumni Association Tallat Azim formally welcomed the guests and appreciated Principal Prof Rozina Faheem for partnering with the association in organizing the event.

The association continues to support students through mentoring initiatives, professional guidance and specialized workshops aimed at enhancing academic and creative development.
The evening’s décor was arranged by Flow, an event management company founded by alumni members, while the thematic floral installation was designed by Vice President Tazeen Mujahid, earning widespread appreciation from attendees.
Prominent guests at the reunion included Member National Assembly Shaista Pervez, Principal ICG Shazia Rizvi, President of the Behbud Association Abida Malik, founder of Roots school System Riffat Mushtaq, and Farhat Zaman, who established the Islamabad chapter of the alumni association.
