Honey-trap gang members arrested

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) SHO Khararianwala police station Inspector Muhammad Riaz, acting on the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar, has arrested a gang members involved in honey-trapping a citizen, subjecting him to torture and demanding extortion after recording an obscene video.

Police spokesperson Tariq Jatt said that Khararianwala police conducted a targeted operation and apprehended the accused Rafaqat, Sameeran Bibi and Tania Kiran who allegedly trapped a citizen Shahid and later used the incident to blackmail him.

He said that the accused lured the victim into a trap, assaulted him and recorded a nude video to pressurize him for money.

The accused also issued serious threats to the victim, warning him of dire consequences if he refused to pay the demanded amount.

The police acted promptly after receiving the complaint and successfully traced and arrested the accused. A case has also been registered against the accused while further investigation is under progress, he added.
