Horticulture Agency to beautify city under public-private partnership

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) Managing Director of the Horticulture Authority Multan, Syed Waseem Hassan, has announced that a comprehensive strategy has been finalized to beautify flyovers, major roads, walls and public squares of the city under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

He shared these views during meetings with representatives of private companies while reviewing various public parks on Thursday. Director Horticulture Saad Qureshi accompanied him on the occasion.

Syed Waseem Hassan said consultations with private sector partners was ongoing to enhance city’s aesthetic outlook. He added that special initiatives were being taken to upgrade public parks, improve landscaping, and provide improved recreational facilities for citizens.

He further stated that encroachments along major roads will be addressed, while artistic painting and beautification work will be carried out on flyovers to improve the urban environment. Emphasizing quality and timely execution, he said all development projects in parks would be completed within the stipulated timeframe and according to approved standards.

The MD Horticulture Authority reiterated the administration’s commitment to providing modern public amenities and transforming Multan into a greener and more attractive city.

He noted that the initiatives were being implemented in line with the Chief Minister Punjab’s Green Vision under the leadership of the Commissioner Multan.
