Hospital services and exam centres inspected in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) The officials have carried out inspections of public hospitals and examination centres, as part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery and ensure transparency in exams.

According to local authorities, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan visited government hospitals on the instructions . During the visit, she reviewed patient admissions, the availability of medicines and the functioning of outpatient departments.

The hospital administration including medical staff, briefed the DC on medicine supplies, record-keeping and patient care.

The official sources said she stressed that no patient should leave without receiving the required medication, adding that improvements in public healthcare should be visible to ordinary citizens without delay.

In a separate visit, the deputy commissioner inspected a girls’ high school in the Satellite Town area during ongoing matriculation examinations, accompanied by the education officials.

She reviewed facilities at the examination centre, including seating arrangements, lighting conditions and student documentation such as roll number slips.

The authorities said the DC also issued directions to address shortcomings and improve arrangements.

They added that inspections of examination centres would continue to help ensure transparency and maintain standards during the examination process.
