Hot, dry weather forecast for Sindh with chance of rain in upper and coastal districts

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Tuesday, forecast hot and dry weather in most districts of Sindh during the next 24 hours while partly cloudy weather is likely in the upper districts along with chances of windstorm and rain at isolated places.

According to the met office windstorm, rain and thunderstorm may occur at isolated places in Kashmore, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Larkana and Dadu on Wednesday while light rain and wind or thunderstorm may occur in Karachi, its surroundings and other coastal areas of the province.

Weather remained hot and dry in most districts of the province while partly cloudy in upper and coastal districts during the previous 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature in the province was recorded in Dadu where mercury touched 46 C.

Maximum temperature in Nawabshah and Sukkur remained 43 C, in Mithi and Moen jo Daro 39 C, Hyderabad 38 C, and Karachi and Thatta 35 C.
