Husband, his wife killed in honor killing in Larkana

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) A couple who married by choice was allegedly murdered over a case of honor killing. The suspect has surrendered to the police along with the weapon. In this regard, on Monday within the limits of Allahabad Police Station in Larkana city, near Ataturk Tower, the accused opened fire over an alleged honor issue and killed his 30-year-old daughter, Firdous, who had married by choice, and her husband, Javed Ali Kokari, a resident of the Allahabad neighborhood.

Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene, gathered details about the incident, and had the bodies shifted to a trauma center. Meanwhile, after the incident, the accused, Muhammad Preel Unar, appeared before the police and surrendered himself.

Regarding this, the Allahabad police stated that the incident occurred over a matter of honor killing. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the deceased, Javed Ali Kokari, had married Firdous Unar by choice some time ago, after which today’s incident took place. Further investigation is being conducted from the arrested accused.

Meanwhile, police stated more that the deceased woman, Firdous, was a clerk in the education department, and her mother had given her a residential house as a share of property. over the dispute regarding the house, her father, the accused, brutally shot Firdous and her husband and he surrendered himself to police.
