HW&SC gives 15-day deadline for legalizing water connections

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) The Hyderabad Water and Sewerage Corporation (HW&SC) has given a fortnight's ultimatum to all the people who are stealing the corporation supplied water to legalize their connections.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), HW&SC, Tufail Ahmed Abro, cautioned that a crackdown was going to be launched after 15 days against people stealing water.

He added that the corporation was giving 15 days to the people to legalize their connections after which a recovery campaign would be started. The CEO also warned those consumers who did not pay their water and sewerage bills to clear their dues to avoid facing action.
