HW&SC says addressing water shortage complaints

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) The Hyderabad Water and Sewerage Corporation (HW&SC) has claimed that the corporation was making efforts to address water scarcity complaints which are emerging from different parts of the city.

In a statement issued on Friday, the corporation's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tufail Ahmed Abro apprised that work was underway to replace old water supply lines from a densely populated downtown area in City.

According to him, Executive Engineer Abid Hussain Shaikh was supervising the operation under which old lines were being repaired and replaced.

He assured that the work was in the final phase after which water supply situation would improve in that part of the city.The CEO reiterated that supply of clean drinking water was a priority of HW&SC.
