Hyderabad Junction to host three special trains on Eid-ul Fitr

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Pakistan Railways has decided to operate four special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to facilitate passengers traveling across the country.

According to railway officials, the schedule for the Eid special trains has also been released following directives from the railways minister.

The first Eid special train will depart from Lahore to Karachi on March 16 and will reach Hyderabad Junction on 17,3,2026 at 13.35 pm, while crossing from its specified stops Kot Lakhpat, Raiwind, Pattoki, Okara, Yousufwala Sahiwal, Khanewal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Khanpur, Rohri, Tando Adam.

The second train will leave Quetta for Rawalpindi on March 17 and will reach Rawalpindi junction at 6.

30 pm on 18.3.2026 while travelling from Mach, Sibi, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Rohri, Sadiqabad, Rahimyar Khan, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, Multan, Khanewal, Okara, Raiwind, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore, Gujranwala, Waziarabad, Gujrat, Lala Musa and Jehlum.

Similarly, the third Eid special train will depart from Karachi to Peshawar on March 17 and will reach Hyderabad at 12.10 am, while the fourth train will travel from Karachi to Lahore on March 18 at 7.30 pm and reach Hyderabad Junction at 10,10 pm. Thus, Hyderabad Railway Junction will host three special trains.

Officials said the decision to run special trains was made to ease travel for passengers during the Eid holidays, when demand for transportation significantly increases.
