HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2026) The police authorities have ordered strict action to improve parking arrangements and address the issue of hurdles in traffic flow caused by rickshaws, at the city’s major commercial hub Autobahn Road.

According to a district police spokesperson, an important meeting on traffic management was held on Tuesday under the chair of SSP Shahzeb Chachar.

The meeting was attended by DSPs of traffic Dawood-ur-Rehman, Farooq Bhutto, all traffic SOs, the DIB in-charge and other officers and personnel.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on traffic flow in the city, challenges and measures to provide better facilities to citizens.

The police spokesperson told that special focus was given to parking issues on the newly constructed Autobahn Road, a key commercial center, where rickshaws have been causing disruptions to smooth traffic flow. Authorities were directed to take strict action against such violations.

The meeting also ordered the immediate removal of illegal transport stands. Officials were instructed to ensure the active presence and vigilance of traffic personnel on main roads along with maintaining courteous behavior with the public.

Furthermore, the operations police were directed to work in coordination with the traffic police to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.
