ICT Police organize women’s awareness lecture on rights, safety

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) City Zone Dr Ayaz Hussain, SDPO Kohsar Nosherwan Ahsan Minhas and SHO Women Police Station Misbah Shehbaz organized an awareness lecture for women at the Women Welfare and Development Centre in the Federal capital.

An official told APP on Monday that the session aimed to educate women about social protection, legal rights and challenges faced in daily life.

Police officers guided participants on the importance of being aware of their rights and seeking timely assistance in difficult situations.

Women were encouraged to immediately contact police in case of any emergency or harassment.

The officers also stressed the importance of self-empowerment and confidence for women to effectively deal with societal issues.
