ICT Police put illegal weapon holder in handcuffs, pistol recovered

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested an accused and recovered a 30-bore pistol with ammunition during a crackdown in the jurisdiction of Sihala Police Station.

An official told APP on Sunday that the action was carried out under the supervision of SHO Aoun Abbas.

He said ASI Waris, along with his team, conducted a timely operation and apprehended the accused.

The official said a 30-bore pistol and multiple rounds were recovered from the possession of the accused.

He said a case had been registered against the accused for illegal possession of weapons and further investigation was underway.

The official said Islamabad Police would continue indiscriminate action against criminal elements to ensure law and order in the capital.
