ICT Police raid spa centres, 13 held over illegal activities

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police carried out a major operation in Lohi Bher area and arrested 13 persons over illegal activities being run under the guise of spa centres.

An official told APP on Tuesday that the action was taken on the special directions of SP Sawan and SDPO Sihala Circle.

SHO Lohi Bher Muhammad Yousaf, along with his team, conducted a raid after receiving credible information about unlawful activities at a plaza.

The official said the police team raided two spa centres, namely “Miss Me Spa” and “The River Spa,” where illegal activities were allegedly being carried out.

He said during the raid, 13 persons, including two men and 11 women, were taken into custody from the spot.

The official said all accused were shifted to the police station and cases had been registered against them under relevant legal provisions.

He said further investigation was underway to trace facilitators and other persons involved in the network.

The official said the role of spa owners and management was also being examined.
