LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Wednesday met Intelligence Officer Mohsin Khalid, who secured second position nationwide in the CSS examination and was selected for the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), at the Central Police Office.
The IGP congratulated Mohsin Khalid on his remarkable success and praised his determination, saying his achievement, despite congenital visual impairment, was a shining example of hard work, courage and perseverance.
He also appreciated the role of his parents for ensuring quality education and training despite challenges, adding that Mohsin had brought pride to the Punjab Police and the entire province.
Abdul Kareem advised him to understand professional responsibilities and adopt modern approaches to make public service his mission.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, Mohsin Khalid is currently serving as an Intelligence Officer in Special Branch Punjab and joined the department in 2025.
The IGP directed him to complete his training with dedication and commitment so that he could serve the country more effectively in the future.
