IGP meets KP woman securing top position in CSS 2025

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) A young woman from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has brought pride to the province by securing 21st position nationwide in the CSS Examination 2025 and qualifying for the Police Service of Pakistan.

Saadia Durrani called on Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed at the Central Police Office here on Wednesday, where the provincial police chief lauded her achievement and described it as an encouraging sign for women’s empowerment in the province.

Officials said Saadia Durrani was the only female candidate from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to secure a place among the country’s top 30 successful CSS candidates this year.

Speaking on the occasion, the IGP said the success of talented young women in competitive examinations reflects the growing confidence and capabilities of women in the province.

He added that such achievements would motivate more girls to pursue higher goals and join national institutions through merit and hard work.

The police chief also shared professional advice with the newly selected officer, stressing the importance of discipline, integrity and commitment to public service in policing.

Saadia Durrani thanked the IGP for the encouragement and said she was determined to serve the people with dedication after joining the police service.
