IGP pays tributes to martyred constable, orders arrest of culprits

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem paid tribute to the martyrdom of CCD Constable Razzaq Dogar, who embraced martyrdom in firing by dacoits in Kahna, and directed immediate arrest of the culprits.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson on Tuesday, the IGP also ordered provision of the best medical facilities to the injured CCD personnel who were wounded in the firing incident.

He directed that all available resources be utilised to ensure early arrest of the fleeing suspects involved in the attack.

Abdul Kareem said that the family of the martyred constable would not be left alone, adding that their care and welfare would remain a top priority.

The IGP termed the sacrifice of Constable Razzaq Dogar as a great example of bravery and devotion to duty.
