IGP Rizvi chairs meeting to review reforms, training, welfare projects

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired an important meeting attended by DIG Headquarters, AIG Logistics and other senior officers to review key departmental matters.

An official told APP on Monday that the IGP Rizvi reviewed progress on different tasks assigned to officers and assessed implementation status.

The meeting discussed reforms in the investigation system, improvement in training mechanisms at Capital Police College and ongoing welfare projects for police personnel.

The official said future strategy was also devised to further strengthen institutional performance and enhance efficiency.

Rizvi emphasized timely execution of tasks and directed officers to ensure better coordination and professional standards in all departments.
