IHC constitutes Special Benches for Overseas Pakistanis' Property Cases

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has constituted special benches to hear cases, appeals, and revision petitions pertaining to overseas Pakistanis, a notification issued by the Registrar's Office said.

According to the notification, the special benches include Chief Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro. The benches have been formed on the orders of the Chief Justice to hear matters related to overseas Pakistanis.

The special benches have been constituted under Sections 10 and 13 of the Establishment of Special Court (Overseas Pakistanis Property) Act 2024.
