IHC seeks comments on bail plea

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday served notices to respondents and sought response in bail petition of digital media journalist Sohrab Barkat.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the bail petition of journalist.

During the hearing , the court issued a notice to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on the bail application and sought a response within a week and adjourned hearing. The sessions court had rejected Sohrab Barkat’s bail application, and the NCCIA has registered a case against Sohrab Barkat.
