IHC seeks record of appointments on deputation in NHA

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday summoned the record of appointments on deputation in the National Highway Authority (NHA) within 15 days

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday summoned the record of appointments on deputation in the National Highway Authority (NHA) within 15 days.

The court also directed the NHA to place its officers’ appointment plan before the government.

Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfaraz Dogar heard a case against the appointment of deputation officers in the National Highway Authority.

The Chief Justice questioned that the order was issued in September, why was it not implemented yet?

Lawyer Ali Nawaz Kharal appeared on behalf of the petitioner and lawyer Sardar Taimur Aslam on behalf of NHA appeared in the court. The court adjourned the case for two weeks with instructions.
