MIRPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) In a landmark achievement, a four-member female team from the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has successfully represented Pakistan at the 23rd Willem C. Viss Moot Competition in Hong Kong, regarded as the world’s largest moot court contest. Moreover, the participation of the team marks a historic moment, as it is the first time an all-female delegation from the university has competed at this prestigious international forum.
Meanwhile, the team—comprising Amna Sohrab from Naushehro Feroze, Mohsina Hayat from Chitral, Neha Fatima from Mirpur (AJK), and Shereen Ali from Jaranwala—proudly showcased their expertise in international law and arbitration. Their performance on the global stage reflected a remarkable blend of talent, confidence, and preparation, while earning recognition for their outstanding advocacy skills.
Furthermore, despite facing significant challenges, including securing sponsorship for the event, the students determinedly overcame obstacles through teamwork and resilience. Their participation highlights a growing presence of Pakistani women in the field of international law, reinforcing the importance of inclusion and academic excellence.
