Illegal fuel agency sealed in Taxila during crackdown on unauthorized businesses

WAH CANTT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jun, 2026) Continuing the district-wide crackdown against illegal businesses and activities posing risks to public safety, Assistant Commissioner Taxila Maria Javed sealed an unauthorized fuel agency during a targeted operation aimed at enforcing government regulations and ensuring public protection.

During the operation, officials conducted a detailed inspection of the premises and found that the storage and sale of fuel were being carried out in violation of prescribed laws, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.

In view of the potential threat to human life and property, as well as to ensure compliance with government directives, the facility was immediately sealed.

Maria said that illegal fuel agencies not only violate the law but also pose serious risks to public safety due to the potential for fire and other hazardous incidents.

She emphasized that strict and indiscriminate action would continue against all individuals and businesses involved in unauthorized commercial activities, adding that no one would be allowed to operate outside the legal framework.

She further stated that the district administration remains committed to protecting lives and property, upholding the rule of law, and promoting a transparent and safe business environment.

Citizens were also urged to cooperate with the administration by reporting illegal fuel outlets and other suspicious activities, enabling authorities to take timely action and help ensure a safer and law-abiding society.
