Illegal structures demolished in enforcement operation

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jun, 2026) On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali, a citywide anti-encroachment operation was conducted across the city under the supervision of Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Zubair Wattoo.

During the operation, enforcement teams demolished three permanent encroachments and removed 43 temporary structures from different areas of the city. Officials also confiscated 10 tarpaulins and imposed fines amounting to Rs30,000 on violators.

The Chief Officer said daily operations are continuing to clear public spaces, roads, and footpaths, adding that illegal encroachments will not be tolerated and strict action will remain in place against violators.
