Illicit liquor recovered as police arrest one suspect in Tando Jam operation

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) On the special directives of Deputy Inspector General of Police Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Dharejo and SSP Shah Zaib Chachar, crackdown against accused involved in drug supply and social evils was continued.

In this connection, SHO Tando Jam, SHO Inspector Abdul Malik Abro, acting on a tip-off with his staff near Lal Chatta graveyard, arrested a drug peddler while his two accomplices managed to flee from the scene.

Identification of the held accused was ascertained as Nisar Ali Chandio, while absconders were identified as Mujahid Shah and Hashim Shah.

Around 30 liters of illicit liquor were recovered from the suspects, while a case was registered against the arrested and absconders under the Hudood Ordinance.
