Implementation of govt’s instruction primary responsibility: DC

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Captain (Retd) Sana Ullah Khan has made it clear that complete and timely implementation of the instructions of the provincial government is the Primary responsibility of every department, and providing better service delivery to the public is the main priority of the administration.

He was presiding over a meeting to take a detailed review of the ongoing progress regarding the implementation of the orders of the provincial government. Besides, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance) Muhammad Asghar Sorani, administrative officers and officers of relevant departments participated.

He warned all the officers that any kind of delay, negligence or irresponsibility will not be tolerated.

He directed that every department should fulfill its responsibility and immediately address the weaknesses found in the field as per the District Service Delivery Dashboard.

He stressed that all institutions should increase mutual communication, strengthen the reporting system, and ensure timely completion of all targets given under the orders of the provincial government

The DC directed that each department should update its performance record regularly so that transparency is maintained in the overall performance and service delivery system of Peshawar district.

He said that public service is our top priority.

“We have to improve in every sector and speed up the service delivery process to resolve the problems of the people. No negligence will be tolerated in this regard,” he concluded.
