Inauguration ceremony to distribute Solar Home System to be held on April 15

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) A meeting was held in the Durbar Hall of the Deputy Commissioner's Office regarding the inauguration ceremony of the Sindh Solar Home System (SHS) project on Monday.

The meeting was chaired by District Council Chairman Ijaz Ahmed Laghari, Mayor of Larkana Advocate Anwar Ali Luhur, and Deputy Commissioner Tariq Manzoor Chandio, and was attended by officials from various government departments.

During the meeting, detailed reviews were conducted regarding the arrangements, security, logistics, and other matters related to the inauguration ceremony scheduled for April 15.

Relevant officials were directed to complete all necessary arrangements in their respective areas on time to ensure the ceremony is held in an organized manner.

On this occasion, the Mayor of Larkana and the District Council Chairman stated that this project by the Government of Sindh will be a significant milestone in providing solar systems to the poor and deserving individuals to protect them from load shedding and heat.

They further stated that under the vision of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, solar systems are being provided to deserving individuals to provide them relief.
